PART NUMBERS & ORDERING

HARDENING HEAT TRANSFER CEMENT

TRACIT™ hardening compounds create a durable conductive bond between steam, electric, or fluid heat tracing elements and process piping, valves, vessels, and industrial equipment. These products are also suitable for use inside heating jackets to improve thermal contact and maximize heat transfer efficiency.

Chemax hardening cements are self-curing and can be applied using a hand trowel or caulking gun.

TRACIT-300

General-purpose hardening heat transfer cement for steam, electric, and fluid tracing systems.

  • Forms a rigid conductive bond when cured
  • Excellent bonding strength
  • Maximum service temperature: 750°F (400°C)
  • Available in cartridges, pails, gallons, quarts, and pint cans

Specifications + Installation •  Product Data Sheet (PDS)  •  Safety Data Sheet (SDS)

TRACIT-600A

High-temperature heat transfer cement. For use on electric tracing, tank strip heaters, ring heaters, & more.

  • Forms a rigid conductive bond when cured
  • Excellent bonding strength
  • Maximum service temperature: 1250°F (675°C)
  • Available in cartridges, pails, gallons, quarts, and pint cans

Specifications + Installation •  Product Data Sheet (PDS) •  Safety Data Sheet (SDS)

NON-HARDENING HEAT TRANSFER CEMENT

Chemax non-hardening heat transfer mastics are waterproof, non-setting compounds designed for externally heated or cooled tanks and vessels.

These non-curing mastics remain pliable, allowing for easy installation, maintenance, and removal while maintaining consistent surface contact during thermal expansion and contraction cycles.

TRACIT-1100

Recommended for heating applications.

  • Insoluble in water
  • Indefinite shelf life when stored sealed
  • Maximum service temperature: 450°F (232°C)
  • Available in cartridges, pails, gallons, and pumpable drum sizes

Specifications + Installation • Product Data Sheet (PDS) •  Safety Data Sheet (SDS)

TRACIT-1000

 Recommended for cooling applications.

  • Insoluble in water
  • Indefinite shelf life when stored sealed
  • Maximum service temperature: 300°F (150°C)
  • Available in cartridges, pails, gallons, and drum sizes

Specifications + Installation • Product Data Sheet (PDS) • Safety Data Sheet  (SDS)

CC CHANNELS

CC CHANNELS

Rigid metal channels fabricated to convenient 4-foot (1.22 m) lengths. Available in 22-gauge galvanized and 304 stainless steel. Strongly recommended for use with TRACIT hardening mastic.

Three sizes available to fit most size tracers: 3/8" O.D., 1/2" O.D., and 3/4" O.D.

  • Eliminates curing and weather protection requirements for hardening heat transfer cement
  • Prevents air gaps caused by expansion and contraction cycles
  • Provides added protection from mechanical shock
  • Ensures uniform application of heat transfer cement
  • Ease of installation reduces labor costs
  • Chemax non-hardening cements can be used on tracer lines when installed with Chemax CC channels
