For over 70 years, Chemax Manufacturing Corporation’s TRACIT™ heat transfer cements have been relied upon in industrial heat tracing and temperature control applications where maximizing conductive heat flow, preventing freeze-ups, and maintaining process temperatures are essential. These compounds are designed for use in steam, electric, fluid, and thermal systems across a wide range of industries.
TRACIT™ compounds improve thermal contact between heat sources and process surfaces by eliminating insulating air gaps and establishing a highly conductive bond. This enables more efficient heat transfer, often allowing a single TRACIT™ application to match or exceed the performance of multiple bare tracers.
Engineered for ease of installation, TRACIT™ heat transfer cement is easily hand-applied to traced pipe, valves, pumps, and industrial equipment. These self-curing, non-corrosive compounds form a durable bond and reduce the need for multiple tracer runs, steam traps, and excessive steam supply.
TRACIT™ & Plate Coils
Chemax non-hardening heat transfer mastics are used with externally mounted plate coils (clamp-on panels) on tanks and vessels. By filling surface irregularities and eliminating insulating air gaps, these mastics create a continuous conductive interface between the coil and tank wall, improving heat transfer efficiency for both heating and cooling applications.
These non-hardening compounds are waterproof, removable for maintenance or coil replacement, and offer indefinite shelf life when stored in sealed containers under normal conditions.
